WWE Sold to Saudi Arabia

Been a mental few months for the company. Vince McMahon was told to step down following it being discovered he’s paid millions of the companies money to several female employees as hush money.

He then decided f*** it I’m coming back as he effectively owns 80% of the company shares and installed his own new Board and said he’s selling the company.

Within days it appears he’s sold it to the Saudi’s for a not yet known fee but likely to be somewhere in the region of $5 - $6 Billion.

His daughter Stephanie immediately resigned. Rumours it could be the end of the women’s division.

HHH was made head of creative when Vince stepped down and it did improve quite a lot. Likely part of the deal is Vince is given that role back. He literally wants to work until the day he dies.

Well yes, Steph and Trips will be set money wise (they probably already were) but it was very much a family affair with them due to take over and carry on the McMahon legacy. But Vince comes back, after stepping down due to allegations of sexual abuse, and flogs the whole thing. It’s basically the wrestling version of Succession with Logan Roy selling up and telling his kids to f*** off.

Said it before, Vince McMahon is a great subject for a warts and all biopic.

3 storylines right now which are grey entertainment

Of course the real life shenanigans blow anything scripted out of the water

It is somehow more real than anything else. Lord knows how but it’s like a never ending series of show and real life.
