I've backed Depay for the Golden Boot @ 27's.

The Dutch group is probably the easiest in the tournament:

Qatar
Ecuador
Senegal

He would need to get his goals in the group phase as the knockout stage looks like:

R16 USA/Wales
QF Argentina

They’re alright. It’s like a Brazil B attack from the Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho days.

Richarlison is shit imo
Jesus is a good player, far from great
Neymar - quality player but flakey
Antony - unproven
Vini Jr - fair enough

it’s not that good imo.

Pretty shite really. 2 of those -- being generous with 2 -- crack the late 80s-mid 2000s Brazil squad in attack. Would not put any of those names in the category of Ronaldo/Ronaldinho/Kaka, not to mention Rivaldo/Romario.

Vinícius Júnior with 1 international goal being compared with the Brazilian greats? Jog on

Add in Rodrygo, Raphinha and Martinelli and that’s a lot of options.

Pretty shite

And who was comparing them with the Brazilian greats? I know it’s not as good as 2002 but it’s not 2002 . Best attacking line up in the tournament imo. Who is better? Or at least who has better depth of quality?

It’s Brazil’s midfield that is worrying.

The post to whom I responded, which wasn't you? Yes, by historic Brazilian standards their attack is "pretty shite". That is the context in which the comment was made. Neymar aside, none of those players bear mention alongside Ronaldo/Romario/Rivaldo/Ronaldinho/Kaka (not to mention the earlier generations by way of legacy).

To be honest, far more fancy Saka/Foden/Kane ahead of an equivalent 3 Brazil can line up. They certainly put up better domestic numbers compared with their equivalents. Of course Southgate is an absolutely atrocious manager and none of the attacking talent is correctly leveraged under him as it is/would be a Guardiola or Arteta.

You're betting on a player with 1 international goal at age 22 to take home the golden boot you absolute mug-punter. Bookies must love you. Easy work.

Brazil's attack is essentially a couple of wingers who play in a hyper defensive-counter attacking Madrid side who have a worse international goal-a-game record than Harry Maguire between them (and no, I am not making that up for effect), a couple of hard workers who don't score any goals in the Premier League, and Neymar who runs very hot-and-cold.

Never seen Neymar have a good game in a World Cup.

By who? It's not overhyping to say they likely have the best attack in the tournament.

It's not bad but also not great. By your own weird criteria, Foden and Saka have just six international goals between them. And one injury and it's Callum Wilson time.

So, who's actually better?
