Default World Cup - Winner and Top Scorer?

Who are the Fredsters picking?

Will Kane feast on the dross in the group stage, or will The Gate's tactics result in England settling for 1 nil wins.

Brazil look they have plenty of options throughout the squad. Difficult to look past them as favourites for me. Though doesn't appear to be any outstanding side.

yup. A few weeks ago I wanted Ronaldo to have a great last world cup. Now I hope he snaps his Achilles heel in the first match.

Happy memories of 2002 when the bookies completely mispriced Ronaldo for Top Scorer because of injury/off-field concerns.

France/Benzema looks value to me.

Maybe, France has incredible talent in that squad but it all depends on what midfield Deschamps puts out in place of Kanté and Pogba(). There's a good chance Rabiot will be on the pitch because Deschamps is a shite manager who plays his favourites (even Guendouzi is in the squad).

Benzema is indeed good value for top scorer, even giroud will probably get minutes () and score a couple of goals.

My prediction is that they'll descend into in-fighting like in 2010 but what do I know?

Brazil will win it, nobody else can touch them.

France and Argentina to flop.

Mexico surprise semi-finalists.

It would be a real knife to the Ronaldo cult if Messi dominates this World Cup

Brazil's attacking options are sickeningly good.
