I heard today that our net spend since Fergie left is nearly as much as our net spend during Fergie's entire reign in charge

All this money spent and we are still a long way from having a great team again
Embarrassing waste of money in recent years :shakehead:

Just telling it like it is

We still have a long way to go to have a complete world class team
Really strong in some areas and really weak in other areas. Very unbalanced

In recent years? Who do you think bought Young, Anderson, Kagawa, Zaha, etc?

How much do you think Keano, Pallister, Ince, Veron, etc would cost in today's market?

Don't forget Eric Harrison gifted him the class of 92, with the £25m from Beckham's sale covering the cost of Carrington and also helping distort net spend along with Ronaldo.

We are a long way from the top of the European pile because Fergie let the side decline after Moscow 2008. Replacing Tevez and Ronaldo with Owen and Valencia FFS. Giving stupid contracts to shit@#%&!s worth nowhere near the coin they're stealing. Get some perspective you spacker.

could have had Vidal for 10 million before he went to Juventus.. Paying 17 million for Valencia, same for Young, Buying Buttner, Bebe, too many hopeful punts by fergie..

Not sure where you get the idea that I think Fergie's later day signings where good because I don't and have said so often on here

Why Fergie didn't sign a midfielder in the last 6 years of his reign is one of the great mysteries in the history of mankind

His post reads nothing like that. Perhaps he worded it badly.

Woodward needs to dress up in leathers, look at the camera, tell the premier league to buckle up , because we are coming in hard and coming in dry.
