He hasn’t... he’s brought some new deckchairs and can’t figure out how to use them.

After the last window you still believe Solskjaer is the one choosing our recruits?

Personally I’m not sure. I think some players have been imposed on all post fergie managers.

It’s the longest running wum in football this.

Gets the supporters off Woodys back for a bit.

We've promoted some good young talent (Greenwood, The Scottish Player, Tuanzabe, Williams). Rashford had developed amazingly.

We've bought some good talent (Bruno, DVD)

Phase 3 needs some renewal Mata/Matic/Bailly/Ighalo + some loans James and some little decisions Fosu-Mensah and two biggies Pogba and De Gea.

The squad looks much stronger and more dynamic but lacks consistency and determination and a clear style. The physicality has got better - AWB and The Scottish Player get stuck in as does Fred. Quality has improved massively some of the goals we score are proper United.

Maguire needs to step up if he wants to be club captain and become a force. If he can't be the leader we need then he becomes big decision 3.
You may have misread the room here pal. Objective optimism is unlikely to get much traction.

We needed a DoF to be appointed before Fergie's replacement.

If we had I don't believe we would be in anything like the mess we are now.

not so. there are people who don't buy football clubs to make money. there's a prince for every club.

also, the price would take account of the debt (or allow it to be repaid by the seller).

So the price is £4.5bn-£5bn instead of £4bn still not happening.

No punters? Cut costs/investment, increase sponsorships in more drastic ways.

That time again

Odd though that this time it’s not coming off the back of a run of defeats...

Could it finally be true that we’re actually seriously looking to appoint a DoF.
