I think it’s gonna be him, mate.

It’s either him or ETH and I just don’t see the club being that imaginative. They’ll go with the ‘safe’ option.

He’s been decidedly ‘meh’ at PSG though and his stock is no higher than when he was binned off by Spurs.

Serious doubts about whether he is a top manager. If Rodgers has played his way out of contention, then this guy can’t be far behind.

ETH is the stand out candidate IMO.

He’s had a £#%&!ing mare in Paris. Failed to win the league, lost out on other trophies too in a one horse town and by all accounts playing shit on a stick football. Just £#%&! off.

Feels like he has gone backwards quite rapidly.

He was fantastic at bringing lesser players along, instilling confidence & a game plan into a side to make it more than the sum of it's parts. If they'd of backed him with the money Jose got after he'd surely have been able to get the right players (he made a big song & dance about involvement in transfers) and they ended up being the only side in PL history to spend £0 in a season & he got them to a CL final

Since then it appears he doesn't have the man management skills to deal with egos & prima donnas - which let's be honest, is an enormous part of being a top manager in the modern game. No one can be bigger than the manager, and he's clearly outranked by at least 3 players at PSG. He has no authority & it was a terrible decision for him to go there (apart from his bank balance).

Utd should have got him the summer he left Spurs. He might be broken goods now after having to deal with the likes of Neymar every week.

I think this is now where I am at.

Going to PSG has £#%&!ed him.

We won't care, though...

I honestly think Rodgers is a far better manager with a superior record, and I don’t want him either.

Keep Ralf before taking on either of those turds.

Not going to lie and pretend I know a lot about ETH but I'm all for going for something different next time around. What he has done with Ajax is obviously impressive.

We will get stuck with this £#%&!er won’t we? I don’t know where he gets his reputation from. The fact that he is doing bad at PSG . Has hundreds of millions of pounds . Already inherited a team full of big names. A one team league.

Yet he is still #@&%!ing it up.

The pressure and egos etc here will be the same if not greater than at psg. Hope we stay away from him… but then when did the club make decisions based on footballing ambition .

PSG will sack him and because there won’t be a compensation to pay combined with him being a “safe” option of a top 4 merchant they will go for him.

He has the stench of absolute failure about him.

Joel's undoubtably been on the phone already.

Him or ETH. At this point I couldn't care less. a lot of fans think ETH is the definitive answer to all our questions. If our luck (curse) is anything to go by then after 6 months he'd have grown back all of his hair just to lose it all again, and have us in the bottom half of the table.

Poch or Tenners for me. Tenners is a bigger risk but potentially bigger rewards.

I'd lean towards Poch because he's massively overachieved in the PL as well as the CL.

I just like his face as well.

No idea just going off our Dutch football correspondent, Bunker Buster, who seems to rate him highly.

I also like his bald head.

We’re looking at it the wrong way round.

The problems we’ve got mean the big name traditional manager may not have the skill set required.

We’re actually a small club in managerial terms, and by that I mean the constraints of the owners mean we need to operate in a way more akin to a well run mid table side rather than trying to appoint managers who are more suited to working with limitless cash.

I’d honestly be happier taking a manager who has shown he can get a team of good players working well as a side rather than a manager used to working with superstars.

Not a great choice. Blubbering Argie bottlejob or yet another Dutch league flat track bully that gets found out in the PL.

Wolves or Brighton mgrs are a better shout.

Built two different teams from scratch that have won numerous trophies and gone far in the champions league on a tight budget....

I actually detest Poch.

Stinks of mediocre and failure..

First bit of sense tatty has ever posted.
