If anything happens to a few it would be a little distasteful to carry the season on imo. Also it surely all depends on what the other leagues do? You can’t have Italian and German leagues voiding while us and the Spanish carry on through the summer If games are played behind closed doors it would have a financial impact on lower league clubs that would still have to pay their players but without match day revenues. If the league season continues then so should the FA cup and European club competitions. |

Nothing is happening for a few weeks at least. The longer is goes, the less likely it will be that it comes back. It certainly won't be back after the international break. They won't and can't push to bring it back simply because one team is very close to winning the league. If we follow the timeline of Italy, Spain and the US, then we'll be seeing bans on mass gatherings and closing of public places altogether within the next couple of weeks. It seems inevitable. We are moving further away from football coming back, not closer. Talk of it is fanciful and there really are more important things going on right now than LFC's feelings. |

£#%&! morality, the most immoral and odious fans in the country can get to £#%&!! Is it morally right to tell the bottom 3 they are relegated as of now? It doesn't matter if it is 2 points, 10, 25 or whatever. They can be honorary winners (not champions) all they like, they can even write poems, have par leagues and make shitty and pretentious banners but unless they reach that threshold they are not champions. |

Its the best outcome we could have wished for a few weeks ago when they were in all competitions and being lauded the greatest Premier League side of all time. |

I'm sure there is a statistician out there that could formulate the probabilities that based on previous seasons, title winning teams average games lost etc etc etc. that they would be a high probability that they would lose more games and not be champions. Such stats would be utterly irrelevant though and should be treated as such, much like awarding the scousers the league now just on the basis that they have done pretty well so far in an unfinished season. |
