I rate Blind as much as you pal. Superb left foot, technique, short passing, long passing, strides out well....proper footballer. If he played in the 70s he'd be an all time great nqat.

At left back though I want Shaw to make it his own. He's got so much talent and can overlap and own that flank for years to come. People who suggested swapping him for Rose will have egg on their faces when Shawzy is the starting left back at the World Cup.

Nice to read (I just don't think Shaw is going to make it here)

Don't forget the hair

Shaw at his best is a better athlete obviously but he's nowhere near as comfortable on the ball

Thought we were a bit sloppy today. Nice to think we're back to a spot whee we can still win games comfortably while not playing at our best.

How poor a crosser of the ball is Valencia?

Just about 70 percent possession, 20+ shots with plenty on target and a missed penalty that really should have been taken again. Could have easily been another 4-0 and this from a team that is still getting to know each other. Happy days

Had the opposite impression til the £#%&!ing ball went in the net. We absolutely battered the £#%&!ers and should've won eighteen-nil, far more comfortably.

Agree about Valencia though.

Another excellent win; we would have drawn that game last season, nqat.

Good intensity levels throughout and a brilliantly instinctive finish from Rashford to get the vital breakthrough.

Still feel we are one player short. Either one of Lemar or Perisic would have been absolutely perfect for this group.

That Maguire looked decent enough for them didn't he.

played them off the park. they had nothing really. a bit of a threat here and there. but united had loads of the ball and looked easy even though it took a while to score you knew it was going to happen.

That was the point though, we were sloppy when it mattered. Could and should have finished them off early. Defence played well though.

"Goal" disallowed that arguably shouldn't have been, as well.
