Would have taken a point before kick-off, tbh.

Amrabat is nowhere near good enough for this level. Too slow and too wasteful in possession.

If we had a Greenwood in attack I think we'd have taken all 3 points, as we just lacked that threat in the final third.

Would be very surprised if Liverpool end up as Champions on that showing. Thought they were woeful. Good to see Varane back in the side.

Liverpool literally knocked off their perch with United the first team they've dropped points against at home this season.

No they're not. They've nicked a lot of points this year by the skin of their teeth. When Salah goes they'll drop another level again.

This is not the Liverpool of 3 years ago.

Spending £30m on a year older Amrabat would be up there with the worst bits of business we could possibly do.

The general consensus was that it might be United fans.

Moments gone btw.

Their defeat on Thursday went completely unnoticed too. True, they rested players but USG are pretty crap yet won comfortably. And I was there tutting at the scousers from a safe distance

He's good at sticking a foot in and initially winning the ball off an opponrnt but he is struggling to move it on quickly and often turns into trouble. I can't see him staying beyond this season. If there's an opening for Mount to be a starter it is in a midfield three where he provides decent passing with high energy and movement.

Today I thought the CB partnership was excellent. Loads of corners to defend and the team did it well. Second half our forrays forward were promising and there's obviously room for improvement in the attack. You can look at it as three games without a goal or one goal conceded against Bayern and Liverpool who everyone expected to pile on the misery. It's some defensive basis to work from now.
