Saha is crucial to us so I respect fergies assessment that he can rely on louis for a full seasons fitness.

I mean, he knows we'll struggle like £#%&! to get any penetration with Rooney and Tevez so he'd be negligent if he wasn't sure he'll get the games out of Saha.

Saha's back in training isn't he? When is he expected to be match fit?

Why is he counting on Ole as part of the four strikers? Saha's only available for at most half a season and who the £#%&! knows what's wrong with Rooney's foot. £#%&!ing ridiculous.

sentiment aside Ole should have made way after last season for someone who can last a full game never mind a full season

I would punch fergie for his stupidity. we all know we're light in the striker department and saha is the only centre forward we have. the rest are all busy little players, but we've only one number 9 and he's not made of strong stuff.

its not a £#%&!ing overreaction because it has been £#%&!ing obvious we needed a striker (not to mention a right back and a defensive midfielder) all summer. and all last summer. there is no £#%&!ing excuse for the bench we had today or even the team.

We're in a situation where you can confidently predict that we'll be without a conventional striker for at least 1/3 of the season.

Fergie is living in a dream world if he thinks having a team full of players who want to pass sides to death will work when playing against a flat back 10.

In all honesty, Ole should've done the decent thing and retired. That would've forced hands somewhat.

Just out of interest, let's say, if everybody is fit (a minor miracle I know) where and when would this additional striker play?

Ahh, but if everybody is fit, then he won't will he?

Rooney
Tevez
Saha
and Ole

Will all be picked before him because they are fit.

Other than that, the player would have to superior to all 4 of them.

Now Jem, Name that player.
