Some proper giddy @#%&!s on here.

Remember 98.

Did my head in coming out of Blackburn with people shouting champions.

I can see the Everton game being very tricky, thanks £#%&! it's at home.

Wigan won't be a walk over and Swansea at home too.

Not over till the points are in the bag.

Bit nervy about this, they've been playing reasonably well without much reward recently.

Me too - Wigan will be a very difficult game

While it'll make my arse squeak a draw wouldn't be a bad result at their place

Thumbs up

We'll beat Wigan and Villa and be either 11 or 12 points clear by Monday.

Wigan aren't bad going forward and they're due a result against us, but they're shit at the back, or use to be and they play wide open. It suits United.

We need to find an in form partner for Rooney, or play him up front with Clevers/Nani/Greg Luganis in behind him.

I agree regarding playing Rooney up front.

We should be OK against Villa, Everton could be a tough game but if they beat Liverpool in the semi final they make relax and have an eye on the final.

Villa/Everton have the potential to be really troublesome in their own right.

I cant see us failing to beat Wigan. What we dont want is to risk dropping anything in the next 3 and City hitting some kind of form which is obviously looking a little unlikely. Nobody wants us to need a result on the last day now do they? Id worry about the mental state of the squad should we find ourselves in such a predicament for starters. Win the next 2 and its absolutely dusted though. Theres no way I could see us failing to overwhelm Swansea at Old Trafford if that were to be the game.

More to the point - and at the risk of inviting a certain poster's wrath - they're £#%&!ing due a result against us, aren't they??

Villa is the one game I'm not concerned about. I've seen their last 3 or 4 games and they are just awful. Won't be easy, because they are so negative and cowardly, but we'll have the ball forever and will make enough chances to got one or two. Slim Dave won't have to make a save.

this...........Villa ffs

there's also this crazy assumption by many that if the title race became 'live' again we would defo lose to the Liars...will we £#%&! lose to them they are £#%&!ing shite and have been for ages

if they draw tomorrow and we beat Wigan we will be champions on Sunday because they will just collapse against Norwich
