Default The reserves beat Villa in National Final

3-2 on penalties, at OT.

Highly enjoyable game. Three times Villa took the lead, only for United to equaliser each time - the third a last minute goal by Diouf, who had also scored our first. Macheda made it 2-2 with a neat penalty. Penalties were a bit shit but two saves and a goal from Foster won it for us. Keane and Evans missed theirs. Macheda, Foster and Possebon scored ours.

That player of theirs that missed the last penalty, Delfouneso....glad it was him that missed it. Came over celebrating each of their second half goals, giving it the big un

Was a really good game

Joe Dudgeon has tons of potential, as does Gill

As for the future of Uniteds attack....

Diouf back with a brace?

I reckon he will make an impression in the 1st team next season.

Well, shall we say a different impression to the one he made in the Hull game

The guy has tremendous movement, if he can work on his finishing then woop.

Saha's finishing wasn't great most of the time, but his pace, power and movement made up for it.

He can finish, well, from what I've seen of him the reserves he can finish, either foot and either with force or a bit of finesse/thought.

I think the Hull game was just a bad day at the office and a bit of over excitement.

Of course, we all know that young players aren't allowed to have any poor games or settling in periods at United these days, straight in and straight in the 1st team or they aren't good enough.

Having read Evra's interview and his take on his first 6-12 months at OT, I'm interested see Diouf and Obertan's improvement next season. Obertan already looks like he has put on a fair bit of muscle.

Are you taking the £#%&!ing piss?

Diouf is useless. His all round movement is shocking. He has pace and that is it.

He makes Garry Birtles look like the greatest signing in Manchester United history.

The amount of 1 v 1's he used to £#%&! up was unreal. You had to let him off though, because he kept getting them.

Exactly, I never felt confident when he was through on goal.

Jem, serious question, have you ever witnessed a referee have an 'acceptable' game?
