I don't know why we keep chasing the South American dream. It has never really worked out.

It's true in the PL in general. There are few that have really been brilliant.

Makes you wonder if it's probably for the best we didn't get Ronaldinho back in the day.

Rafael then Veron. I liked Fabio. Anderson was ace for dressing room bants, the rest are a big, fat meh.

Edit: Sorry, always loved Diego, was convinced there was a top striker in there somewhere all along was ace for that spell when Ruud was injured.

I know it’s trendy to pretend Valencia has always been shite but I’ve dug him from day one. Strong, fast...seemed to set up pyarr goals for Rooney for a good few seasons. That screamer at Blackburn in 2012 would’ve been one of the all-time goons if we hadn’t blown it.

Least fave the Angel obv.
