Thumbs up Manchester United 4 - 0 FC Porto

What a night. The buzz I got watching that game was incredible. Our first, great result in the European Cup under Fergie. Giggs was on fire. Oh, Eric never did it in Europe, did he

Brilliant night. To think, Porto were among the favorites to win it that year

United 3 -2 Juve the following season was almost as good. Another stellar performance from Giggs.

if you knew your history, you'd know that we were in Div 2 so we wouldn't even get into europe.

Had the competition even existed.

Atmosphere was brilliant that night. I miss when European games were something a bit special.

Forgot how good Cole's and Giggsy's goals were that night.

David May you plank

How the £#%&! did you not know that? Even I remembered that and I normally struggle to remember the scorers if we win more than 1-0.

I missed that game as I was working nights. I was shuttering jam in the hydro dam and underneath the Thames in a hole.
