Nice for ETH to his first Fergie time win

My god that was hard work
We created enough chances however we should be creating more clear chances against that poor a team and certainly our finishing has to be much better

Still a win is a win

Sweet win because you know they thought they’d done us.

Good for around twenty minutes first half then gave up/ran out of ideas. If we had just kept playing football we would've won that easily.

You mean that shot that went right down the centre of the goal and he dived to the right?

Much better with Shaw in the team. Rashford played well but should've scored. Anthony and Sancho are interchangeable in how frustrating they are. Casimero was £#%&! again. Two steps forward, two back.

Some shit finishing too. Their keep made standard saves you’d expect . None of the shots were in the corner. The double save rashford hit it into the ground and at him. He had a good game but we made him look way better.

Bruno needs to fix up. I can’t fathom how he blasts it so far and wide from just outside the box.

Long work ahead . This wasn’t a champions league cannon fodder team. This was a shit europa team .

£#%&! it, they won, The Scottish Player took his goal well. Onto the next one. Can only hope ETH is learning as much about this squad as possible in situations like this .

Hopefully Newcastle come out a bit more on the weekend, should have bigger gaps for our forwards to exploit

I'd sacrifice a good few Fredsters for a top centre forward.

The Scottish Player is a striker not midfielder.
Use him that way.

I think you have to give the keeper credit for reacting to shots that weren't as good as he was expecting them to be.

Let’s not gloss over the fact that Soceidad are going to beat us away. We were poor tonight.

I think Casemiro played his role well. The forwards Ronaldo, rashford, Bruno and Antony were dog shit in the final third. Fred too, his passing range limits what happens, he will have the ball in space but plays a pass with too much pace or not enough .

As were the full backs . Slow build up against a team that parks the bus and works hard will always have the vast majority of these guys struggling.

The fullbacks were inverting today which probably made it harder for them to find space but still need more from them.

Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Sophocles Sophocleo, Telly Savalas, Peter Andre… your boys took one hell of a beating!

Thought we were fine, just a little flat at points and some really poor finishing.

We kept on the front foot and didn’t let the game just drift like we would’ve done before ETH.

Felt like one of those days rather than anything inherently wrong. We win that comfortably 99 times out of 100.
