If he isn’t a defensive midfielder you must be suggesting he is a attacking or box to box midfielder.
One of his many flaws is he doesn’t like to receive or be in possession of the ball so how can those two positions suit him?

He doesn’t suit being a defensive midfielder either tbf as he shits himself and hides from the ball in our half of the pitch.
