Would you seriously pick a midfielder on his ball juggling ability?

If so.. I don’t think Roy Keane was much of a show boat.

Which ever point you were making, it was a pretty empty one.

And back slapped. No thanks.

Not a good comparison .. Keane had great short passing, excellent range of motion, never lost the ball .. The Scottish Player well well, in a more civilised age he'd be at Sunderland or West Brom following in Greening/Chadwick's illustrious footsteps ..

I argued he should be given time, but he’s had that time now and it really hasn’t worked out. He’s nowhere near as brave as he’d like to represent. Slow as shit too.

Shame.

Next!

Not good enough and the more the team improves under Ten Hag you will see him stand out as not good enough.

The tricky thing with giving a academy kids a chance is not to persist with it so long that it prevents other academy kids from getting theirs. File under Cleverley and Gibson get a fee if possible and move on. Never going to be good enough; Iqbal, Garner or Savage might though.

He's a squad player, he doesn't lack heart or desire, its just that he isn't good enough for us. He has to take a few touches of the ball before he can pass it. Not since Scholes and Carrick have we had a player who can hit a first time ball. Its embarrassing at this level.

Yep we really need to get better at selling kids who come through the academy and get some money in for them instead of hording them hoping they come good whilst paying them silly money.

The Scottish Player is a decent player but ultimately not good enough for a team that wants to win things.

A lot of kids who make it into the first team squad think they have made it for life and stop developing which is definitely the case with The Scottish Player - he hasnt improved since his break through season under Mourinho

He’s a good squad option

Pointless letting lads like him go who obviously want to play for the club and give it their all. He’s a useful player to have for certain games and cup games.

He’s also not a DM.

what sort of midfielder do you think he is...

If he isn’t a defensive midfielder you must be suggesting he is a attacking or box to box midfielder.
One of his many flaws is he doesn’t like to receive or be in possession of the ball so how can those two positions suit him?
