Wouldn't It Be Nice...
...(not a Beach Boys thread*) ...if we actually started the game tomorrow at a quick tempo?..if we actually decided to try & score some goals rather than see how long we could play 'Keep Ball' for??
Instead of checking out & playing the ball sideways, that we actually injected a bit of urgency & pace through midfield?? Wouldn't it be nice to score a goal in the first half of a League game?...& indeed score more than one goal in the 90minutes... Middlesbrough are having a shocker, but of course they're playing their 'Rivals' () tomorrow night so expect 100% improvement. A must win game because we'll be 10pts behind the scousers after today VDS Rafael Vidic Evans O'Shea Ronaldo Scholes Carrick Park/Nani Rooney Berbatov/Tevez |

Now, I'm not saying I expect or would want any team to roll over & let us win but you know for a fact that from Southgate to the players to the Fans..to a man they would happily take a point tomorrow night even if it meant being relegated this season. If you said to them, "You can frustrate United twice this season. Pick up 4pts from them & damage their Title hopes...but ultimately you'll go down" ..they'd all bite your £#%&!ing hand off. £#%&!ing @#%&!s. We're 10 points behind the dippers & we've just got to grin & bear it because of a back log of fixtures. Anyway, as I said originally - Wouldn't it be nice if we scored a few goals tomorrow night & actually started the game like we mean to win it rather than pass the ball to death. |
