We’ll probably sell him for 5m with a 120m buy back clause in his contract.

This isn't a good deal for us at all.

Either get rid properly and get the £20m now or send him out on a normal loan (with no 'option').

Someone else would pay £20m tomorrow, so why mess about?

Well clearly nobody else will pay £20m or this deal wouldn’t be happening

Seems to be a poor deal if it is sending out, with an option to buy.
Would rather get the cash in and look to use.
What if he is a total dud at NF, they aren't going to exercise the 'option'.

And we are back to square one.

We don’t want to give an option to buy, apparently. So that’s him back next summer and looking for another loan.

If there’s no option to buy, surely it’s because we don’t want to sell and think he has a chance of being number one.

More like they want to hedge their bets and are terrified of him £#%&!ing off for nowt and becoming a top keeper and them looking stupid/not getting top dollar for him. Reeks of the whole club having no clue who is good and who isn't and being terrified of making decisions.

Then just do a normal loan with no option.

Pope being available will effect his value but as soon as that is sorted, someone will want him.

Yep, this is the concern. The fact we haven’t signed anyone isn’t so much the issue, it’s more that we are notoriously bad at this and we were hopeful of a change of approach. So far, it’s same old same old.

Can’t sell anyone.
Haven’t signed anyone
Scared to sell anyone.
Players we know aren’t good enough returning to the fold (pereira, Jones. Martial)

This is our biggest summer in years. We’ve got a complete overhaul of the management, but the changes upstairs just seem like musical chairs. Jobs for the boys.

Plenty of time and no reason to hit the panic button, but not a promising start.

We are really feeling the pinch of being relentlessly shit last year too. Players are taking a long look at us more than they ever have before. And they’re completely right to do so

We might get 20 million for him if he wasn't on 100k plus a week

£#%&!ing Woodward

Listened to something yesterday and they were recalling a recent conversation with the agent of a United player, who’d been trying to shop his client about. Every club he spoke to said they had no interest in any United players probably only a small sample, but still..

Letting Henderson go to Forest prevents Garner from going back to the club he helped get promoted.
I feel the experience even if only until January would be the making of Garner.
He would only be a bench option for us next year.
Surely Forest are not the only club interested in Henderson.

Officially gone.

Forest paying his whole wage, 110k a week, no option to buy.

De Gea crew wins again.

This caps merchant has not stepped up like expected after Sheffield United.

Good deal

Shame there’s no obligation to buy but they were never going to do that for 20m with them being one of the favourites to go down.

Hopefully he plays well and puts himself in the shop window for a permanent move next summer.
