taking over relegation candidates in the championship and getting them into the playoffs is a bit different to managing molde tbf

You can’t be a candidate for relegation in October ffs. Only as much as every team in the league would be a candidate too. They’ve played a quarter of the season.

So a good run of form in the championship over 3 months now identifies you as a possible future United manager?

you said they were relegation candidates. lok said it's not hard to see him as a future united boss.

He was a respected player and coach at the club. He was appointed caretaker manager when needed. He has had a good start at boro, gaining good results and getting them to play a decent style of football.

It's very possible he could be back in the future. Not sure what is so controversial about that.
