Utd is too big for him. If you watch all of his best moments prior to being here he really is a capable ball playing CB, but he’s shit himself. That’s half the issue, he doesn’t have the heart to be here.

This. He’s a better player than we’re seeing now and his confidence is shot. No surprise considering he’s become a national laughing stock. One of those where it’s best for club and player if they leave.

Middlesbrough and Everton are usually a good bet for buying any old shite from Utd. Could give Carrick a call maybe?

Why are people talking about his wages like it’s an issue? He’s on less than Ben Chilwell for example, and slightly more than £#%&!ing Lucas Digne. I’d say it’s actually one of our more sensible contracts from that era

However £#%&! he looks for us, he’s England starting centre back. We’ll take a loss on the fee for sure, but his contract isn’t going to put anyone off

He's so slow and ponderous on the ball. Takes loads of touches then passes it square.

The best is when he carries the ball slowly higher up the pitch then loses it and has no chance of getting back.

I was thinking Everton as well.

Perfect dumping ground for everyone else’s crap.

This. There will be plenty of takers for him. As well there should be.

No one is signing him, be lucky to loan him out with utd paying most of his wage, never seen a player so far out of his league. How anyone thought he was a top class £80 mill footballer is insane, he wasn't even the best defender at Leicester. Worst signing ever. He'll see his contract out, how long has he got?

West Ham might take him. Old school defender with an old school manager. He is 7-15th team material.

Depends on if his ego will let him go from the biggest club in the world to one considerably less so

Maybe offer him in exchange for a player.

He’s a better player than he can play for us. No shame in that see Birtles et al. Should go back to Leicester.

Anyone watching his united games will know he's just not up to much and completely unsuited to the modern game. Honestly cant see anyone wanting him, even moyes

I think this has totalI £#%&!ed him up! Maybe when it`s all over he will get his head together but he never was a United player and we will be lucky to off load him on his current salary.

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire's appeal against a guilty verdict in a Greek court will be heard on 7 June, 2023. The 29-year-old was given a suspended jail sentence of 21 months and 10 days in 2020 after he was arrested following an alleged altercation in Mykono

He was shit before that. We hated him slightly less because that was kind of funny.

People are talking about the likes of West Ham and Everton.

West Ham's highest earner Paqueta is on 150k a week. Everton have the likes of Doucoure and Iwobi on 120k a week.

Most (if not all) teams in the league aren't going to be stupid enough to match his wages, England captain or not.

I juts saw a headline from an ex United player saying Maguire was "born to pay for United.

That ex player was Peter Schmeichel though

I can't even see clubs like Everton and West ham taking a risk on him. He'll still demand a relatively large transfer fee, even if we lose 50mil on him. Then there's his wages on top.

He's 29, best years are behind him and he's slow as £#%&!. Don't see why many mid-table sides would take that punt when there's probably better options available to them.

Could do with another club coming up from the Championship and throwing stupid money about in a desperate attempt to stay up the following season to take him off our hands. What about Italy? Our shit defenders seem to always look half decent when they £#%&! off there. Come on Mourinho, fulfill the prophecy.

We don’t think anyone would want him because we £#%&!ing hate him

Others will want him. Southgate picks him. Plenty of PL clubs would be interested.
