There is absolutely nothing in his career to suggest he is in any way the best man for the job.

You get what you pay for.
Di Maria, Pogba and Sanchez suggest otherwise. As does the 600m we’ve spent in general.

2 titles you say? Sounds the kind of hungry, managerial talent we should be snapping up. If his beliefs were congruent with what united fans want, he’d be ideal.

People should at least stop pretending that "he managed Cardiff and didn't do too well" is some blinding revelation nobody was previously aware of.

Same. Think it might be the outside of a thigh?

Utterly terrifying.

Duncan Castles has gone IN on Ole...

Quote:
“If Solskjaer still thinks all his defence needs is a young backup centre-back and a right-back to solve that problem, I guess it’s probably the biggest sign you can have that he’s not the right man to be put in charge of transfers at Manchester United,” he told The Transfer Window podcast.

“The question is whether the Glazers and Ed Woodward have the bravery to say ‘this isn’t working, we made a mistake in giving you this job and appointing you on a full-time basis before the season had been concluded when we were on a high from a series of good results, when we pretty fortunately got past Paris St-Germain in the Champions League, and that three-year contract is an error.

“‘You’re performing as you’d expect a manager whose CV is coaching in Norway and getting Cardiff relegated from the Premier League. You yourself are talking in press conferences about what a mess the squad is in and what a state the club is in and how the gap to the top two teams is huge and it’s gonna take years to fill that gap. If that’s your position on it, our conclusion is that we’re gonna need a better manager who’s taken on a job like this before to try and do it.’

“But I don’t know whether the Glazers and Ed Woodward have the bravery to make that decision.”

Talking guff there and missing the point entirely. Also, imagine thinking this squad won't take a couple of years at least to sort out.

Duncan Castles. Coming down the wrong side of his own argument. On one hand implying that its incompetent and amateurish to attempt a rebuild with a full back and a centre back, before peddling the same pish the previous 2 managers have done- buy "ready made worldies" and fix it in one window.

Barely a day into the transfer window and hes already been scrutinised for signings he hasnt made yet.

Nothing article.
