So we're not giving him a chance then?

Ok.

Hmmmm

The CEO of Manchester United shouldn’t be making decisions based solely on what the fans want tbf. He should be making them based on his knowledge of the game and what’s best for the future of the club.

Letting Ole get to the end of last season before making a decision is what should have happened tbh. But that would make way too much sense for this board.

Winning a game on penalties has tipped the balance it seems.

Best performance I've seen from Sanchez at Old Trafford.

A Klopp or Guardiola team doesn't concede that first goal, even if they'd been in charge a month. Ole should be safe for the sake of stability and the re-shaping of the squad which is going well, but he cannot avoid judgement of his coaching in this day and age.
You’re normally pretty right about these things in the light of day and when emotion is removed.

why are some of you suprised?

the guy was managing molde ffs.

he doesn’t have a style of play, doesn’t have his own brand of football and has no credentials or record to justify giving him more time

he needed a pre season to get the team fit yet we look knackered already and didnt even started the game distinctly fitter that usual.
he sold players and stupidly thought our average youth players would fill the void
his substitutions are as bad as any manager.

can’t think of any positives.

Actually
“He sold our only out and out striker”

Yes, but whilst doing well in other comps and winning stuff.

This is basically our only chance of winning anything and should go all out to try win it and he / they serve up that shit

We can’t start comparing Fergie and his United with Ole and this United.

It’s not just a one off either and the results aren’t really that important to me as we’re clearly rebuilding etc. But what is important is seeing a style of play, even if it’s only a glimmer of one at the moment. Fitness looks worse than it did last season and it’s not even October.

We look lost in every single game we play at the moment. I do agree it’s pretty pointless sacking him now and I don’t think we will tbh, but let’s not pretend this a one off because we played a couple of kids.

That's because Solksjaer is basing his managment on late 90s fergie where the dressing room ran itself. It's all very well telling players to 'go out and express yourself' but when those players are pretty shit the result is what you're seeing every week.

Still baffles me why we didnt wait to appoint him.

If united had waited until the end of the season a few things may have been different.

He either makes top 4 and is appointed on merit or doesnt and isnt.

Obviously doesnt help when no £#%&!er else wants to manage you.

So you sack a guy 6 games into his first full season ?

Bodes well for the future..
