The kid has even said as much that he's not ready. It's been a few days since the club has been dragged so this gives people a fresh opportunity.

Great PR timing from the club again...

We get knocked out of the League Cup, then announce Diallo signing and now we leak news we're not signing a player in a position we desperately need to strengthen only for us to sign him 3 years later for £50m? Yep, right on-brand

No news on that DoF though

Looks a really good prospect but in all honesty I want an experienced ready to go right now player for that DM role we so desperately need filled

That’s a position (at a top club like Utd) for a more experienced player than 19 year old kid from Ecuador
