He took over a team rock bottom of the championship and got them promoted

I know people like to say that we need to bring in Keane to sort out our pampered prima donna footballers but that’s because we don’t look at footballers like they’re human beings

Imagine having a @#%&! and a bully like Keane as your boss in the office

No idea why any club would appoint him in any role
He’s a complete #@&%!

That works better from a team mate than a manager these days.

He was great as a dog on a leash. But there would be no possible way to get approval. Nothing but negativity and chipping away. Impossible to work for I'd say.

Am sure part of his mentality is that he wants people to toughen up and to be ok with not pleasing everyone. Not saying it works, and he's undoubtedly a massive headcase, but in some twisted way he probably thinks he's helping. He wants players to play for the badge like their lives depend on it and £#%&! everything else. What he doesn't realise is he's one of a kind in that respect. Probably the only player we've ever had who is loved by everyone, but couldn't give a single £#%&! about us.

Keane might get results for a while but it would be through fear rather than respect and that isn't sustainable.

He's a throwback with no place in the modern game.
