When he signs who is likely to play upfront?

Will be very difficult to leave Tevez out, he has been outstanding in nearly every game I;ve seen and scores very important goals

Rooney - makes united tick when he is playing well and on form is frightening.

We are not going to spend £25m on a player to leave him on the bench are we?

I swear there's about 10 of these "Who we gonna play upfront" threads. Getting bored of them now tbh.

To be honest with Ronnie out i'd play all 3 in a fairly fluid front 3, both Rooney and tevez given some freedom dropping off Berbie.

I'd rather nobody talked about this unless it actually happens. And judging by reports in the last hour on SSN the deal is off. Spurs are outright refusing to sell.

Good. He's damaged goods and worthless to them. If we were held to ransom for him now I'd be concerned. I'd offer £15M, tell them it will £10M in January, £5M next summer and he's free after that anyway.

Can't believe that for a minute. He's absolutely no good to them.

It's all been said a million times before - just a case of wait and see now really.

I really don't think there is a plan B. I know SAF mentioned something a week or so about looking at 3/4 options but going on the comments he's made since (losing patience, happy with squad) it seems he put all his eggs in the one basket this time.

Fergie musst have a plan B. Another striker to cover for injuries is essential. A striker around £10-12mill mark will do

I'm beyond caring now. This is virtually as tedious as the whole ronaldo to madrid saga.

The betting on Betfair seems to suggest otherwise. The odds of him leaving have come in from 1.18 this morning to 1.1 and you can only lay at 120 now, could lay at about 8 earlier today. Suggests someone knows something and its close?

I hate to sound like Keano's love..but..One of the Spurs "ITK"s is now saying that the deal is done for £26m plus £2m in add ons with £15m beng paid up front and the rest over two years. Now this lad was apparently saying on Monday that he wasn't at all convinced it would happen but he seems to have changed his tune. God, I really need a break from this transfer %@#$&!s.

Maybe he's not a gambler. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
