Still got a lot to learn but huge balls on the lad. Never shirks his responsibilities. Fair does to Mou for pushing him.

Thumbs up

great performance, again, and we'd have won against Gammon United and Villa had he been in the team nqat

but he did get caught badly on the ball near the end and they almost scored from it, was identical to the mistake he made at Norwich and they did score from it, needs to cut that out and sharpish, great energy and drive in the middle but his passing can still be suspect but far and away our best (only) midfielder on current form

Thumbs up

Not just that he is our best midfielder, but his mere presence makes the rest of our midfield look slightly less crap.

Lad is a £#%&!ing titan. Ole said he'd fit in in the teams he played in. He rattles cages and propels the team.

That’s a bold statement.

He could have operated in those mid 90s teams for sure. He can graft and has the mental strength (albeit in a fragile team). Been a long time since we've had someone like him. No question he'll have bad games but he never goes missing.

Fergie would have loved him imo

Driving runs from midfield, not afraid to put his boot in, can be a bit snide when needed and doesn’t back down.

Should be captain next season.

Wonder if he’s regretting that decision now?

Would easily have been capped by England this season imo.

All the better for us though because he’ll have every summer off...
