Default Football 19/03/2022

Villa 0-1 Arsenal at HT.

Arsenal are fit, organised and working hard. One or two bits of decent football, but nothing special, just doing the basics/minimum and have enough quality for it to be a winning formula.

I £#%&!ing hate Mikel Arteta.

Villa really poor btw. Ollie Watkins is a waste of space up top on his own. We better not buy that McGinn ffs.

That Partey is better than every midfielder at our clue

That young kid Ramsey who scored 2 against us has had a £#%&!ing shocker

The frustration with United: everyone knew how good Partey is and his release clause, plus he wanted to come to England, United never even looked, despite him being exactly what we needed. Tierney, attacking full back, would be treading a well worn path from Scotland to OT, reasonable price, didn’t even look. Gabriel, had a look and reportedly Ole wanted him, opted not to buy a CB and let him go to Arsenal for a very reasonable fee. Odegaard, fancied signing him when he was 16, knew he was available on loan from Madrid at a time when we had 3 available senior attacking players in Jan ‘21, never even considered giving him a go.

And that’s just the players at Arsenal. There are hundreds that could’ve improved things at United.

Yep.

Our business since Fergie left has been incredibly bad. You could seriously make the argument that we have not made one single undeniably successful signing in those 9 years.

This arsenal team ffs. Organised and hard working. That’s about it.

And our lot can’t even match that.

That’s the thing that £#%&!s me off the most. Just be fit and work as hard as you can, following instructions, if you fail due to lack of quality it is what it is. Failing because you cba is unforgivable.

Well if this is the standard of opposition that Arsenal have to face for the rest of the season then they’ll cruise to 4th

The Gerrard hype has predictably fizzled out.

getting what we deserve.

talking up obvious bullshit players like The Scottish Player and rashford for the odd decent performances

also reaping the rewards of oles xenophobic transfer policy early on in his reign of failure.

It will get worse when elanga is main forward.

one of ours right?

Yes. Well obviously we had to play them twice in quick succession whilst they were still in the new manager bounce phase with brand new signing Coutinho (who was shit today btw)

And there’s arsenal players and the bench with the completely over the top celebrations after 90 mins of their manager doing the ridiculously over animated “young manager in chinos” on the touchline routine the whole game.

Villa haven’t taken a point off the top 8, not including the four they took off us obviously.

Ooh, look how he’s always demanding more from his players.
