Good news, he's still not nearly as effective on the left-not his fault mind

I didnt say that mate

Great news.

Been so impressed with him since the turn of the year. That performance against arsenal still gives me a chubby.

he's earned it, come on in leaps and bounds this year, fair play.

actually i disagree. i think he's been as effective, if not more so, on the left over the last five or six games. his big upsurge in form occurred when he was on the right but i think that was a coincidence tbh.

I was a massive critic of his but I am pleased with this news.

I'm sure you are all glad to hear this

IMO playing him in his natural position did his confidence the world of good and thats the reason he remains in much better form. I wouldn't say he's been more effective as he still has that natural tendency to slow down the play at times by checking back inside. That said though he's doing it less and less and is learning to get behind his man effectively on that side. His delivery has improved no end as well (Milan & Bolton assist). I just think he finds it 'easier' in his natural position

Tribute to fergie, at the start of this season me and a scouser at work were having indentical bitches about players, I was slagging Nani and he was slagging off Babel.
Both wingers bought young for big prices, both fast with a good shot on them and both nowhere need reaching their potential and at times looking lazy. One of the 2 teams has a manager who can get the best out of his players

3 or 4 decent games and he gets a £#%&! off payrise and a new 4 year contract.

He's featured in 16 league games this season and been crap in at least 12 I'd say.

Tribute to Fergie? Yes. For not picking him that often.

It's to maintain his sale value.

If he goes out of contract we get £#%&! all for him

extending his contract doesn't mean we can't sell him in the summer

No bedders. Just realistic and capable of separating his first half display at the Emirates this season from 'reality'.

No you are mean.

He's stepped up his performances in the latter part of this season, still had blips as all wingers do but he's a talented lad and i think he'll continue to improve.
