Right idea, just five yards short. Didn't mind him trying it, it was just then him blaming someone else that pissed me off. Should have held his hand up to apologise for underhitting it.

Get Martial and Shaw playing and that's quadruple
5th July sagey from Switches, other than the actually effectiveness of that team, obvs..

Like Fergie signing John Hartson. For a world record fee.

Shit signing. Like some of the shite Liverpool have signed up front over the last decade or so. Average shite for a world record fee, and no doubt paying him 200k+ a week. Modern football. You can shove it.

Hopefully. Given the timing it would make sense this is something Everton has asked for to ease Rooney negotiations. Also helps pressure Madrid. Suits both clubs.
Reckon Jammy now has Lukaku as better than van Basten..

Would be the least exciting striker we've ever signed - apart from Michael Owen possibly.

Should be sponsored by 'Meh'.

The concern is that he's showing all the weaknesses we feared he had.

He can't hold the ball up
He doesn't rise to the occasion
He's shit with his back to goal

The only surprise is that I expected him to be more clinical.

The forwards that had the ball at their feet £#%&!ed it up with head down runs to nowhere - he's not good enough for United day in day out as a CF. He's better where he played for Everton , coming in from the right. We don't need that.

Might be worth a try though?
Put Sanchez as centre forward, Lukaku on the right, Martial/Rashford on the left.

Midfield three of Herrera, Matic and Pogba (sorry to the Ander haters, but if you want to chance Blind as the other holding midfielder, feel free).

At the back, I'd go with Shaw over Young after last night's display.
Then one of Jones or Smalling to leave at the end of the season.

were you watching everton every week? He needs the ball into his feet, preferably in the channel on his right side. He can score goals and we need to play to his strengths. He is limited in what he does but he is very effective as a goal scorer when he gets the service

Play to Lukaku's strengths, but then we also need to play to Pogba's and it will become clear shortly that Sanchez needs the same consideration.

More compromises than a marriage.

you buy a player on what they can do not what you think they can do. We haven't got time to develop players these days. Sad but unfortunately true.

Just when you think Lukaku is starting to click here, he goes back to shit again. It doesn't help that he doesn't seem to be the strongest mentally either.
