Fascinating stuff, and a real cliffhanger ending too...

Given all the surplus cash at United, the club could take £100m of the cash, cut all ticket prices (STs, members' tickets, juniors, seniors and execs) by 15% and then freeze them for seven years. We'd still have £50m in the bank plus the profits generated each year. Unless the Glazers are keeping the money there for some other reason.....

I am indeed, all these foumistas are new to me.

Did you read the link in the thread you replied to or do you just agree with the points made on Andys blog? Because that highlights a number of differences between the Glazer owned United and the PLC owned United, both good and bad.

Whether you're anti Glazer, pro Glazer or just not arsed I don't see how you can say they're the same as the PLC.

With that kind of logic I can see you are going to fit well.

Anyhoo, I was being sarcastic. Others won't be though.

Ah, nice to make a @#%&! out of myself on my first day on the forum!

I'll look forward to hearing them try and give the reasoning behind that one...

this 15% reduction and 7 year freeze in ticket prices sounds a real goer. maybe the players will co-operate and apply the same rules to their big fat skyleague wages. must say i'm confused about the ronaldo money turning back up though.

The whole point throbbers is the players don't need to agree to anything, he is talking about money already in the bank and what you could do with it.

I suppose you're right in a way, it's simplified stuff of what he's said before but as your previous post shows that's no bad thing. Maybe he'll have to try again...

Oooh, I like you. :bi:

You're going to regret it though, you're just about to have a six month conversation.

The repayment of the loans however they did it took the wind out of Andersreds sails. Until people find out how that was done it's all goin to go quiet I'm guessing
