Having back ups just about good enough to grab a one goal win at the bottom club isn't the same as having a dominant team. Everything ten Hag tries to do starts at the back. We had our 5th and 6th choice cb's and 4th choice lb out there, and if you don't see the gigantic difference between Varane/Martinez and Maguire/Evans then there's probably no point taking it any further.
