Of all the people he's played with, he's chosen John Terry as his first choice CB?!
One or two players on that list can be described as @#%&!s. Not least Frank de Boer. Doesn't stop them being good players though, does it?

And no offence, but I'm pretty sure Ronald de Boer knows more about this sort of thing than you do.

Your recent absence has seen you slide down quite a bit.

It's an English magazine. He's just being diplomatic. and Terry's not a bad player.

Ronald de Boer chose Rangers over Manchester United.

His opinion is, therefore, meaningless.

His brother was better, anyway.

I'll hold my hands up here, this was quite a shit thread to start. I guess i just found it bewildering that a 'Perfect XI' containing players he's played with and against in his career, would contain John Terry, with Stam only on the bench.

That'll learn ya mate. Should have been a straight poll, 'Who is better, Stam or Terry?'

Good team that.

As much as he is a @#%&!, he is a good player Terry. Most @#%&!s are good players and probably part of the reason why they are @#%&!s.

What if the question was about taking penalties? 'Cos that'd be a tough one.

It's unbelievable how Terry gets in these lists. A limited defender and has been exposed at Chelsea quite often since Makelele left.

I'd have to go for Terry. I don't think i've cheered as hard for one of Stam's as i have for Lionheart.
