i know its wrong but reading about it bores me.

i suppose i'm reading too much into things but is it possible that the red knights are calling the gimps bluff with regard to the price, i know they claimed to have turned down a bid of 1.5 billion but that is unconfirmed, the figures out today and the fact that things are most likely to get worse for them has me thinking that if they will accept an offer at some stage, sooner rather than later.

Is it not generally reckoned that they were the Middle Eastern party that already made a bid that is believed to have been around £1bn-£1.2bn but not the £1.5bn the Glazers have been claiming it was?. They have subsequently bought Harrods for £1.2bn or so as well haven't they, how much more do they have to throw around?.
