He seems to have got a slur recently too. Why are the left so bad at putting the right person forward. A chimp should be able to beat Trump...but he will win because if they did choose a chimp to go against Trump, they'd choose one with a history of murder &/or sexual abuse

the big thing with american politics is name recognition and he has it. plus he's a comfortable establishment figure versus the scary far left crazies running for the dems and the craziness of trump. people want a rest from all the confrontational stuff imo.

Agree with most of that but think his harder job will be winning the dem nomination. I’ve not followed it too closely but haven’t they changed some of the voting weights for primaries?

he's something like 30 points ahead or something and has the dem establishment behind him.

by far the best dem, Tulsi Gabbard has basically been hidden the same way the gop hid Ron Paul in 2008. the rest of them are a joke.

That was verging on a push poll. Even without that, much of his poll "support" is IMO Obama nostalgia and thus soft.

Sure the Dem "establishment" mostly support him now - though what that is actually worth after 2016 is another question.

But will they still do so as his inevitable f*** ups pile up?
