to be fair to the owners he's spent a fair bit and i'm sure they want to see some kind of return for the money already spent, he's got a big squad already

I hope they get a manager capable of doing something in the league.

Like Lippi.

Souness is looking for a job

Best away record in the league & 3 points off us, and a game in hand... they'd have to be a bit stupid to push him surely?

Next manager will be Mourinho.

That will be a bad thing.

Hes done well, theyre in touch in terms of the league and haven't fallen behind like other seasons although a lot of that has to do with a much easier fixture list to start with than last year. I think they'll give it a good go if Benitez stays but they will come up short as usual in the end...

The CL is a different story though, a draw v Porto which is highly likely would leave them as good as out of the competition and losing the club a lot of money, they have big debts aswell but nowhere near the income Manchester United generate so if they miss out on CL it will hit them harder than it hit us.

Mourinho will NOT be next Liverpool manager.

Unless they are going to wait until next September to appoint him.

I'm hoping The Chosen One has got his eye on the Barca job, now that Rijkaard is under some pressure.

Otherwise that'll be the final £#%&!ing straw for me.

I will have to concur with EI, Mourinho is a winner, he'd make them real challengers for the league title. And I mean serious ones, LIVERPOOL.

One bad run in a competition they've fluked a few times isn't grounds for £#%&!ing him off though - although if he's demanding another £20m or something & they're not progressing this year then maybe it is...

Fingers crossed they get McLaren

Milan is a more likely destination. Ancelotti needs to win the champions league again if he is to stay. They are rubbish in the league.

Jose isnt allowed to manager another English side this season. I doubt he'd come back to England just yet anyway.

the come up short artists will need more than the special one to topple us chelsea and arsenal to win the title no worries on that front for the next light year.
