How can he possibly be so bad? I can't think of a single thing he does well. I know he's had very little game time so it's hard for him to build his confidence but he's genuinely shit.

I didn’t think he was THAT bad. Couple of nice passes here and there, but he just gets lost in games and can’t influence them in any meaningful way. By the time it gets to the hour mark, he’s completely disappeared and he’s an obvious sub.
I think there’s a technically decent player, but some players just never look comfortable in the premier league. I think he’s one of them. |

I was more than willing to give him a chance under ETH, but he hasn’t even shown glimpses. If he had say two or three good passes in a single game you could argue he just needs match fitness and then he will really get going but not even that. I don’t think he has played a significant pass nor done anything where you can argue, ok there’s something to work with if we can get that part of his game going, in the last few times he has played. Let’s see if we can offload him to Newcastle for 25/30 million and cut our losses |
