You mean the squad named for each season, rather than for each individual game? Yeah, that makes more sense, and makes the stat slightly less impressive

Yeah sorry, wasn’t clear.

I highly doubt it holds for each match day squad since 1934 or whatever it claims.

It was the use of the phrase "kick off" in the original post that got me thinking we were talking match, not season, always thought that sounded unlikely
