Wasn't great offensively but I thought he was a good captain. He led the press and the team. Him and Eriksen did a lot more defensive stuff than I ever expected.

Spot on

Big difference when u have a captain the others respect

Maguire a disgrace and a loser, sick of him

Needs to stop giving the ball away cheaply and cut the constant going to ground.

Thought it was his most composed game for a long time. He'll making a good vice captain to casemiro.

Rough round the edges, but did the basics so much better than usual. He’s a #@&%! and his histrionics are annoying, but he cares and he’s got bottle and he’s a better shout than Maguire.

Anything that makes Marlo look a @#%&! is a bonus too.

Didn’t expect, and hoped he wouldn’t start.

Put a shift in though. Fair play, best I’ve seen from him in ages.

Right on 95 minutes there was a 50-50 ball he had to win or they were all over us. He won it, drew the foul. Leadership

Bit of the best and worst of him tonight, that almost oggy ffs but first positive signs for a while.

Late run and won a defensive header in the box too.

He did some really good things he had his moments. It’s hopefully the first step on changing the bad form and bringing his best

If he can keep all the good stuff from tonight and add his attacking quality he'll be world class for us.

Definitely a lack of confidence. The touch when he ended up diving was a great example, just snatching at the important attacking moments a bit currently.

the armband gives him licence to get in the ref's ear constantly. will never get a decision again.

needs to calm down a bit. winning every week will help.

Thought he played his heart out and has obviously come back onside, his creative and special stuff will come back, few very special passes tonight along side the work he put in, one of the highlights for me. BRUNO!

Loved his workrate tonight, but I’d personally prefer a captain that wasn’t rolling around the floor and whinging so much. His dive in the box was also embarrassing.

Don’t mind him giving the ball away every now and then, as I’d rather he attempted the killer passes that are more risky, rather than going for the safe option, but he does need to be more careful in possession, especially when he’s in our own half.

If he can find his shooting boots, I can see him scoring bags of goals again, especially if he’s back on penalties. Tonight was his best game in ages, hopefully it’s the spark to get him back to his devastating best.
