every paper I've looked at says we need to rip it up and start again, get rid of the dross etc

Looks like everyone's on board with a clearout then...except woody and the three stooges

The most infuriating thing about this clear out is that we've been saying it for 6 years!

LVG did a clear out but sold the wrong players, kept the wrong players and then replaced them with additional ****

City will stop any attempt we make to sign Sancho.

We wasted so much money under Van Gaal.

But looking at the players we signed you have to question whether they actually were all his signings?

Darmian, Rojo, Schneiderlin don’t really jump out as Van Gaal type players

Shaw and Herrera were probably done before he came in

Martial was more of a club signing imo

Blind, Schweinsteiger, Depay and Romero were his signings nqat

But the mismanagement of the club has meant we’ve allowed three different managers spend a shit load of money on our squad rebuild. All of them with different philosophies and outlook on how we should play and that’s left us with the disjointed mess we have now.

How in the name of Christ would you expect we would sign someone like de ligt?

There would have to be zero interest from any of the likes of barcelona, Madrid, psg or city.

Selling Memphis and Mkhitaryan were easily the worst transfer decisions of the last 5 years tbh, and signing Alexis obvs.

Unless we’re the absolute best all the time what’s the point?

No fight, no heart, no patience and no desire for the battle. And that’s just the £#%&!ing fans

People have been watching some of this squad stink the place out for years. When does enough become enough.

It can’t all be changed/turned around overnight is the point.

Ole got here in December, eradicating the previous regime and beginning the clearout can’t start until summer.

Although he’s already got shut of Valencia and Fellaini..

I think that's just a turn of pharse

Also he doesn't want to completely knock the confidence of the players by saying yeah we need to make loads of signings

I suspect we'll make 4 signings

Rojo was definitely LVG. Played a stormer against his Netherlands team in the WC iirc.

One of his better signings to be fair. Playing him as a left back wasn't great though.

Ole isn’t the problem.

It’s the people running the club that people have no faith in.

The club have recently given Jones, Smalling and Young new contracts, That’s enough to make anyone question the direction the club is going.

Didn’t he play left back at that World Cup?
