I can see us getting De Jong to show a regime change has actually happened and we are now backing the manager with his targets rather than just who is available.

Looking forward to the long term and we must back ETH. That includes not just buying players for buying's sake.

The transformation of the academy players coming through playing his way will be something to keep an eye on too.

In all seriousness, I think De Jong is world class and is a proper midfielder, it would finally be a step in the right direction for me.

Important thing with ETH is that he gets backed and gets time. It’s going to take time to properly implement his own ways. The players have downed tools with three managers now, will be interesting to see if they try it with big ten hag-ers
