That would be superb.

Silva has wanted to leave for ages. He told someone I know that he is not enjoying the football there. He said it all well and good winning trophies but the training sessions and build up to games were too mentally intense because of Guardiolo's need for perfection and that the joy had been drained out of the football.

Sort this one way or the other this week. If we’re not moving on anyone else until this is done and he apparently wants five players, might be an idea to get a move on seeing as pre season starts next week.

From the outside looking in, nothing has really changed.

Too big and slow to react fast enough in the market.

What do you think the preparing consists of?

In reckon it’s slapping their thighs and going ‘right then’ before opening their laptop.

If he wants training sessions run like a tiny tots group, the option to disappear off on holiday whenever and zero expectation of success then I know just the club.

Or at least I did.

Aren’t the dividends paid this weekend? Got a feeling they’re waiting for them to go out and then they’ll start bidding and signing. Naturally players who they could have got cheaper will be gone and the club will fee the squeeze a bit more as selling clubs know they’re a bit desperate to sign so they can hike up the price.

This will probably get done but it will be draw out for another week or two. They will also end up playing closer to Barcelonas value than uniteds own.
