Front three pressed well and consistently. Chelsea gave the ball away so much because of the press last night. Makes all the difference .

Antony had a decent game. Garnacho was very good, consistently attacked with intent, ok it didn’t always pull off, but you want a player who makes things happen. Rather than run into players and look miserable when things don’t work.

We have many more gears to go. Having a left footed CB in shaw made a difference too , the passing angles became easier. Once Martinez comes back I think the team will jump up a gear . Do need to sort out the CM a bit as sometimes we were wide open but it was an exciting game and it can only breed confidence . Once Hojlund gets his first prem goal the rest will come quickly.

This is gonna be brutal. If Cole palmer plays Chelsea will win -1
How did this work out for you? £220m midfield two against a duo which cost nothing and scored two goals.

I must admit that's a good point you made there & im relived that the club did'nt fel the need to give into health & safety brigade & withdraw McTom during the half-time as I really did'nt expect him to be coming back out for the 2nd half but Im delighted to have been proved wrong though
