I'd go with that but every time we pick that team we end up with Giggs playing up front and Rooney wide. If we're gonna do that why not picka forward to play there instead of a winger.

It would seem strange to play one of worlds best strikers as a winger and one of the worlds best wingers as a striker. He's a mad old c***.

larsson and ole on the bench, probably wes, fletcher and kuszczak, though he might go for park ahead of fletcher (this is pushing the optimism a bit).

I realise that bench leaves us with no central/defensive midfield option. I blame fergie - I don't consider fletch, o'shea or park to be options. I wouldn't mind too much if vidic plays, but I prefer wes against arsenal for reasons stated previously.

more important that the selection (and, to a certain extent, the formation) is that we go there to win. not to be conservative. not to play deep and flood the midfield for the first hour. not to strand rooney on the wing and tuck giggs inside. crush them.
