I was playing 5 a side the other night and it was cold, not freezing, but cold enough.

There's nothing worse than taking one in the nads. When I used to play, I got them in the plums on a regular basis. One time, a shot was going through my legs but because I spread myself quite well, the ball cannoned off my balls and dropped me like a sack of shit. I honestly thought I was going to poo myself because it felt like I'd lost control of my entire body.

Did I get sympathy from my team mates? If you call them all lying on the floor pissing themselves sympathy, then yes I did.

I was in New York City in Jan 07. I bowled out of JFK without a jacket on wearing a t-shirt, thinking 'ahhh how cold can it be?' I was stood waiting for a cab for a total of 15 mins before I cracked and opened my suitcase to get it out.
