One thing I will accept actually, the timing of this decision is just a bit odd. But we know that Levy can be a massive @#%&! as well, so meh.
Surprised he didn't sack him at half time v Everton.

Is the timing better or worse than as he's parading a trophy he's just won?

They’d have looked more ridiculous sacking him for losing to City in a tinpot cup final.

They could always sack him just after he won it, just like we did with LvG when he took over

I think back to van gaal’s time and it was just dull as dishwater, but Mourinho’s period was just soul sapping gloom. Trophies did very little to alleviate that.

On the pitch the LVG era was the worst, off the pitch it was Mou. Very little in either category tbh

Mourinho’s time was so £#%&!ing weird. They looked like United and dressed like United, but weren’t quite a United team. Even winning the Europa felt slightly as though you were watching another team. Buying players like Lukaku and Sanchez didn’t help either.

LVG United were absolutely shite and he made some terrible player choices. But everything about that team was more likeable than we were under mourinho.

Felt like a Domestic abuse victim at the end of Mourinho. Only knew how bad it was once Ole turned up

You listen to van Gaal speak these days and it appears the only reason he failed was because we didn’t buy him the best players in the world in every position. Just go have a cappuccino on the beach ffs.

So basically the reason Pep isn't failing?

One thing being a great coach, but if you're only a great coach with the greatest of players, are you really that good?

why? he has to be as rich as any manager and most players. I get he wants to be a manager regardless of money but surely nobody does this shit for the love of the game.

Its almost as if he didn't sign the players that he actually did sign.
