Football Manchester United v Liverpool 20/10/2019 - Official Match Thread

Thought Iíd give it a go. Enjoyed Oleís pre match presser yesterday and thought itís the most open and honest heís been this season. He talks about us not taking risks this season so I think we may see a slightly more gung ho style of play and I think itís the best option.

I think it will be 3 or 4 nil either way.

Dreading this... outplayed, outthought and them by two goals.

4-0 United, result of the season so far. Gary Neville can't contain his excitement and Carragher is sad.

I'm not the violent type, but someone to do Henderson for that tackle on rashers please. Nothing too over the top. Just a good hard

Traditionally form doesnít matter in this fixture, but I think we are in for a spanking here. Theyíre fired up with a gap between them and city already, they wonít want to let that lead diminish and they seem rock solid in terms of mentality at the moment. We, on the other hand, must be the most fragile team in the PL right now, and thereís nothing to suggest our confidence is on the up.

Iíd love to be posting an embarrassed smiley after this post later tonight, but have a feeling Iíll be too irritated at ďthe boysĒ to post anything at all.

The scousers would have to play pretty poorly for us to get anything out of this game. I just can't see it tbh.

One of the least confident I've ever felt going into this fixture. No idea what the midfield will even look like today...

Klopp has bottled it in most big games at Liverpool. Hes never gone gung ho against us. He shit himself v City last season. They were shit in the Champions League final but were playing Spurs so it didnt matter. I think today will be the same again. They'll probably win but it wont be the thrashing everyone expects.

2-1 Liverpool.

Draw wouldn't surprise me.

Shit game for Liverpool tbh. Never been more fancied to win at OT in 30 years. That's a shit thing to carry. Haven't won at our's since Moyes and that run has to end sooner or later.

Still think they'll be too strong for us and it's hard to see us not having issues at both ends of the pitch.
