if you are against a weak team you should be trying to beat the record for biggest victory in the cup.

i'd prefer to be beaten badly by someone far better than me than someone far better than me taking it easy on me.

imagine preferring to be patronised

but you're a good boy. well done. good effort.

you've obviously never competed in anything. you are an absolute clueless try hard moron.

oh sorry i should go easy on you, you're great...i value your contribution. let's play table tennis where neither of us try win and we just see how long we can get the ball back to each other.

you are a try hard moron. buck up or £#%&! off.

It was painfully obvious that Utd teams slowed down once they got a good lead in the past; there was also the media outrage when we scored 8 against Northampton (dad used to moan about that).

But you’re right, sides going easy is the most utterly sickening his world. Can’t sleep for fretting when sides don’t completely humiliate a beaten team.

in your imagination maybe.

it's embarrassing seeing the people on here try to shame city for scoring 9 when, if truth be told, we'd love to win every game 9-0.

£#%&!ing hell. imagine being so bothered by a premier league side beating some lower division side heavily that you invent a narrative where United on;y ever beat teams by a couple of goals then gave up because they weren't into humiliating lower ranked sides.
