Fletch, Anderson and Carrick boss and lay the foundation. Giggs, Berbs and Rooney do the damage.
It's intriguing, so much so that it could just work.

Theres no way SAF will start Valencia at Anfield (imo of course)

Not knocking the guy but if its anything other than Fletcher Carrick Anderson Giggs as the midfield ill be amazed. Unless Scholes starts ahead of Berbatov

Do you remember the team at anfield last season? Not wishing to worry you but Fergie aint afraid at throwing a particularly bizarre curveball even there, nowt will amaze me I suspect.

Like it.
I'd like to see Brown given another chance at RB and Owen and Berbatov more time together.

Don't really rate Wellbeck but since Park is out then it's alright.

Reckon Valencia will do a good job on Sunday.
Maybe swap Fletcher for Carrick. I'd rather Fletcher against liverpool.

Anyone confident of clean sheets vs CSKA and Liverpool?

2 years ago we would be, when there was barely any rotation for months. Brown - Rio - Vidic - Evra every week, with Edwin behind....best defence in europe.

OShea doesnt cut it.

Team is struggling for continuity at the back. The rockiness is natural and understandable. Clean sheets would be hard enough to come by in these fixtures anyway, but the size of the games dictate that the players should be fully focussed at the back (often a problem in smaller games)

Macheda & Owen to start?

I'd rest anyone that are only 99% fit. Sunday is a much bigger game and whatever happens tonight, we'll have more than enough to qualify from this group.

Edit: We should refuse to play and take a 3-0 defeat.
