Giggs i can understand but atm he's that important to us, letting him have two weeks off and allow him to come back might be the turning point for us to win the game.

I'd play:

VDS
O'Shea
Vidic
Evans
Evra
Nani
Carrick
Anderson
Parky
Berba
Owen

that'll do me, rooney and giggs on the bench

Reports on the BBC site are saying that No Forehead @#%&!s groin injury might be worse than expected as well. Fingers crossed.
I'd rest a few in Russia, a point would be fine out there. Owen and Macheda up front, that sort of thing.

Who is no forehead @#%&!?

Stop saying Brum, it was Sunderland.

Sorry, it's £#%&!ing Steve Bruce that's done that to me.

He was looking particularly Bernard Cribbensesque last night by the way.

Oh and doesn't Owen Hargreaves have pretty eyelashes.

He managed to sit without aggravating his knee's so that was encouraging.

I wonder if he curls them...

4-6 weeks, I honestly can't remember the last time he played without looking it up - Chelsea away ? He's going to make a difference, lets hope he can avoid more knee-knack.

Not his biggest fan, and went mad when we signed him but he seems a really honest lad and want him to do well for us. He's growing on me

The beginning of the show when they asked him directly.

It's nailed on he'll get a muscular injury within the first few weeks back - Ruud done his thigh the other day for Madrid after 10 months out, 2 Weeks did everything after his time away etc etc. Just the nature of it, so I'll await the "£#%&!ing injury prone @#%&!" threads with relish in December....

I wouldnt take the following over to Moscow - Valencia, Rio, VDS, Evra, Anderson, Rooney and Giggs.
So as many to feature v Bolton as possible, midweek rest, then fit and ready to go for Anfield.

Yup. If we rest Giggs this weekend he'll have 3 weeks between games, could be very rusty after that.

I don't get this. OK so Anfield is important but we're only at the 3rd CL game - surely too early to be resting so many??!!

Not for me, our results so far mean we can rest a few over there, a point will be fine anyway and i think we can get that.

Think we can afford to rest a few for Moscow and still compete to win.
Its a 4 hour flight, plastic pitch and difference in the time zone etc, so all factors into the fitness of the players. Not sure of the weather over there, but it was snowing for the game in Poland last night.
I wouldnt have any issues with the following for Moscow - Foster, Brown, Evans, Vidic, Fabio, Nani, Scholes, Carrick, Gibson, Owen, Macheda.
